Energy Supply

Purpose

To develop and drive a prioritised programme that deals with the energy supply aspects of delivering low and zero carbon homes.

THIS WORKSTREAM WILL AIM TO:

  • Identify the issues surrounding the delivery of low and zero carbon energy.
  • Identify examples of where low and zero carbon energy has been effectively used in existing dwellings.
  • Highlight and outline the potential barriers that may hinder or restrict the use of low and zero carbon energy solutions.
  • Disseminate to the industry where and when low and zero carbon energy solutions would be most appropriately used.

HOW WILL IT WORK?
The Zero Carbon Hub will set up a steering group made up of senior 'hands on' representatives from relevant organisations who are actively engaged in providing low and zero carbon energy solutions - and ensure that their concerns and views are effectively disseminated back to the industry, and the UK Government.
