During September and October of this year, the Hub undertook a series of "Have your Say" events across England. The goal was to elicit the views of industry stakeholders on a number of important questions on the Government's Allowable Solutions and Housing Standards Review consultations.
The results from the events have been collated and published. A copy of the report fed into DCLG's official consultation process.
Rob Pannell, Managing Director at Zero Carbon Hub:
“To ensure the mainstream delivery of zero carbon homes we need to develop a robust, workable framework for Allowable Solutions. The release of the Government's Allowable Solutions consultation in August, in particular, was an important step in the journey to achieving the 2016 target.
“Our report provides feedback from industry on a number of key questions that are adapted from the consultations on Allowable Solutions and Housing Standards Review. The report highlights areas where there is industry consensus, as well as areas where there is not.
“The Hub looks forward to seeing the official response to the consultations and was delighted to play a role in the continuing debate around Allowable Solutions.”
