What happens when there is no global plan?
One of the outcomes of the Paris COP21 conference is that a global agreement on achieving zero emissions needs to happen as ‘soon as possible’ and the need to have a ‘net zero emissions’ during the second half of the century is essential. However, there is no global plan about how this will actually be done, and national policies, including that of the UK, are still to be aligned with these challenging objectives.
In the absence of a global plan, our forthcoming meeting on Zero Carbon Buildings Today and in the Future will address the ‘how’ question and thus it will make a small but important step towards a global change in the right direction. If you would like to be a part of it, please consider participating and submitting a paper abstract by 1st February. Details on http://www.zerocarbonbuildings.world
